HIS STORY The Story of God's Promise For All People Imagine, God coming to earth as one of us? Well, that's exactly what the Bible says happened just over 2000 years ago, and that's what our ministry is all about, bringing all kinds of people around the world God's ''Good News'' of hope and promise . . . . He loves you! As you begin your journey into the Bible (get one you can understand) you can clearly see it's message is about God's love and plan for His people, Jew and Gentile alike, He loves us all. It's an incredible message through the sixty-six Books and thousands of pages as the story is told that He [God] became man in the person of Jesus Christ and was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin in the Middle Eastern Judean village of Bethlehem some 2000 years ago. It is written by men and woman inspired by God Himself, witnesses and so many more that Jesus was raised by a Jewish mother [Mary] and stepfather [Joseph], and that he grew and began his ministry of healing, redemption and salvation at the age of 30. The Bible goes on to say that Jesus was crucified at the age of thirty-three (33) for our sins, as it had been prophesized thousands of years before. After suffering terribly Jesus died and was buried. But that's not the end of the story. You see just as he had promised, Jesus was resurrected three (3) days after his burial and walked amongst his people for forty (40) days right here on earth, he even ate breakfast with a group of fisherman. Witnessess clearly stated shortly after spending some time with those he entrusted Jesus actually ascended (lifted up) right before their eyes into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of The Father. At New Life, we believe this story with all of our heart and further believe, as written, that Jesus Christ commissioned us (Matthew 28:19) to bring this story to the ends of the earth, wherever we are, live, work and play. We do believe that Jesus the Christ is God in the flesh [the Son] and that he will come again, in his own time, just as he promised to judge the living and the dead and that His world [The Kingdom of God] will never end. After hearing, reading, praying and studying God's Word (The Bible) we further believe, just as it was written, that the world’s sin is unbelief in the Resurrection and in the person of Jesus Christ, and that an individual, no matter who they are or what they have done, will be saved and given Eternal Life by accepting the redemptive work of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross for their sins, and believe that He alone is their Savior, regardless, of their denomination, race or social standing. That's it, God's story really is all about His great love for you. We are so grateful that God would entrust us with the gifts and privilege of communicating this message to you. We look forward to meeting you and growing together, becoming all that God made each of us to be, and to sharing the greatest story ever told to everyone we meet.
