Pslams 34:1-3 - Message TODAY'S WORD Life is all about how you choose to see things. You can complain about your job, or you can thank God you have one. You can complain about where you live, or thank God you have a roof over your head. You can complain about the price of gas, or you can thank God that you have a car. Years ago, when my daughter Lisa turned seventeen, I had an old Camaro restored to like new for her. The car was ''mint'' and a classic to automobile enthusiasts. One day I received a telephone call that while driving to school Lisa's car spun out of control on the highway, crashing through the guardrail and almost flipping over in a ditch. Amazingly, Lisa came out of that crash with only a split lip, but the car was a mess. Lisa thought I'd be upset about the car because I just spent a fortune on getting it restored, but I was grateful because she was alive. I made up my mind to let His praise continually be in my mouth. Instead of being upset, we celebrated God's protection over Lisa. Today, you can choose to spend the rest of your life declaring how miserable things are and follow your words in a life of ''Oh, poor me'', or you can choose to declare how blessed and grateful you are, and live a life filled with celebration and declarations of just how good God has been to you. A PRAYER FOR TODAY Heavenly Father, today I've made the choice to live my every moment celebrating Your goodness over my life, a living testimony of Your provisions. In Jesus Name, I boldly declare - Amen! |
